Hale School Foundation

Creating the future together for our boys

Hale School is extremely fortunate to have had, throughout its 160-year history, facilities that have been supported through investment by generations of Old Boys, parents, grandparents, friends and supporters. This tradition of giving has been a wonderful reflection of the school community for which we are most grateful.

Like many independent schools, Hale School uses school fees to pay for teachers, admin staff and operating costs. Through the Foundation, established in 1987, we continue to rely on the generosity of the Hale School community to help deliver major building projects, provide scholarships and upgrade information resources.

The Foundation's vision is to ensure the best-quality educational environment possible is provided for all boys seeking a Hale education.

The Foundation's mission is to foster a culture of philanthropy in the school community to generate funding for much-needed capital projects, and to support the educational aspirations of boys who may not otherwise be able to attend Hale School through the provision of a scholarship and bursary programme.

The following pages explain the work of the Foundation, including the many projects that have been supported and also provide information on how you can support Hale School.
