Hale School is fortunate to have a strong culture of philanthropy supported by generations of Old Boys, parents and friends. This tradition of giving is a reflection of the School community’s generosity, for which we are most grateful.
Hale School Foundation’s vision is to ensure the best-quality educational environment possible is provided for all boys seeking a Hale education, through the delivery of significant capital projects on campus and supporting Hale School’s comprehensive scholarship programme.
As a fitting end to the 60th anniversary of the Wembley Downs campus in 2021, Mr Mark Foster, Chairman of the Hale School Board of Governors, announced the approval of the redevelopment of the Memorial Hall and Performing Arts Precinct.
Slated to commence construction in 2022, the Board of Governors also charged the Hale School Foundation with conducting a capital campaign to raise $5 million towards the project.
Just as the Hale community joined together in the early 1960s to fund the Hall’s construction in its entirety, today the Hale School Foundation welcomes contributions from all in our community to help realise this significant project through the Honouring the past – Building the future campaign.
Please take the time to look at the campaign brochure flipbook on this page.
The expansion and refurbishment of Memorial Hall is just part of the project – a catalyst for an entirely new Performing Arts Precinct redefining the south-west corner of the campus.
Please contact the Hale school Foundation on +61 8 9347 0116 if you have any questions. We look forward to sharing updates and progress reports as we realise this important capital project as a community.

The Cygnet Society was formed in 2008 by the Hale School Foundation and the Board of Governors to recognise, thank and honour those who have chosen to remember the School in their Will during their lifetime.
Everyone who informs us that they have remembered Hale School in their Will is invited to join the Society. Importantly, it gives the School an opportunity to thank the Society’s members during their lifetime by inviting them to special events and keeping them in touch with the School.
Please contact the Foundation Office on +61 8 9347 0116 if you are interested in contributing to the Honouring the past – Building the future campaign through your bequest.
