Hale School has a longstanding tradition of philanthropy, enjoying the support of Old Boys, parents and friends who have given generously to the School. This generosity has helped to build the magnificent and spacious Wembley Downs campus that all students enjoy today.
The Hale School Foundation was established in 1987 with a mission to foster and develop this culture of philanthropy in the school community. Philanthropic donations are directed to support Hale School and its students and staff through the Scholarship and Building Funds.
Hale School Foundation Board
Management of the Hale School Foundation is vested in the Foundation Board of Management, which acts in consultation with the Headmaster and Board of Governors.
The Foundation Board manages the investment corpus, which receives income and contributions from the Endowment Fee paid on acceptance of a place at Hale School, as well as philanthropic giving and bequests.
Management of the investment corpus aims to give Hale School a strong and permanent financial base. In consultation with the Board of Governors, returns from the investment corpus are divested to the School to fund its Scholarship Programs and support its ongoing Capital Works Program.
