In celebration of Book Week, you are invited to the launch and performance of a new children’s book by Hale School’s own Artistic Director, Danny Parker. Hari’s Bones is a gentle story about risk, resilience and reaching for the stars.

Hari’s Bones will be brought to life by award-winning composer, Matt Ottley, illustrator Rache Antonio and Danny Parker, with a performance through live music, narrative and the visual arts. This event will also share the writing of our Year 4 students.

Throughout that week, our Junior School students will be immersed in contemporary children’s books by The Sound of Picture Books, followed by workshops with the authors, illustrators and publishers behind these stories. The Sound of Picture Books is presented thanks to the support of Fine Art@Hale.
