Hale School has again been named among the top schools in Western Australia with the release this week of the 2024 WACE results.
In ATAR, two Hale students received ‘perfect scores’ of 99.95, alongside only 16 others in the State. Those two students and one other achieved a General Exhibition and one student received a Subject Exhibition. These and other notable awards are listed below.
Perfect score (99.95) – Benjamin van Aswegen, Vivaan Wagh
General Exhibition (top 50 students) – Benjamin van Aswegen, Vivaan Wagh, Lachlan Steele
Subject Exhibition (top student in the subject): Geography – Drew Davison
Subject Certificate of Excellence (top 0.5% or top 2 students) – Benjamin van Aswegen (Chemistry, Literature), Vivaan Wagh (Chemistry), Ethan Chin (Geography), Drew Davison (Geography), Benjamin Vogan (Mathematics Applications), Lachlan Steele (Physics), Robert Johnson (Accounting and Finance)
VET Certificate of Excellence (top 0.5% or top 2 students in a Cert II course or higher)- Cooper McKay (Construction Industries)
In addition, 95 students gained Certificates of Distinction or Merit for maintaining A and B grades over Years 11 and 12.
