The Garland Music Festival is an annual eisteddfod for Hale music students established by Lady Lyn Garland in 1977. The aim of the festival is to encourage students to perform as an instrumentalist or vocalist in friendly competition with their peers and to watch each other’s performances.

Students, family, and friends are encouraged to watch and enjoy performances in various sessions throughout the day. A semi-final performance for the Year 7, Year 8 and 9 divisions will also be held during the day to determine the overall winner for these sections.

Join us at the Garland Concert on Wednesday 6 August when the finalists perform and the overall Garland Prize winner is announced.
