Senior Mathematics Teacher – Senior School

Hale School is Western Australia’s oldest independent boys’ school. Located in the suburb of Wembley Downs, the current campus is situated on a magnificent 48 hectare site, approximately 13 kilometres to the north-west of Perth and two kilometres from the coast.
Hale School is seeking applications from enthusiastic and well-qualified professionals for the position of a Senior Mathematics Teacher commencing in Semester 1 2026. Hale’s ATAR classes are structured with 5 Mathematics Methods classes, 5 Mathematics Applications classes and 3 Mathematics Specialist classes per year. Experience teaching these classes will be favourable. Mathematics teachers at Hale have the opportunity to teach all year groups from 7 to 12.
The successful applicant will:
have a proven history as a Mathematics teacher, with the ability to teach ATAR Mathematics.
experience working in high-functioning teams.
be familiar with the Western Australian Curriculum.
have an understanding of, and empathy for, the learning needs and social, emotional, and spiritual development of boys.
have a firm commitment to independent schooling and a willingness to support the School’s values and Anglican traditions.
hold appropriate academic and teaching qualifications.
have current registration as a teacher with the Teacher Registration Board of Western Australia or be eligible for registration.
have a current Working with Children (WWC) check.
