Campus Security Officer
Casual, with the prospect of becoming permanent part time, commencing September 2025
Hale School is seeking applications for the casual position of Campus Security Officer. The Campus Security Officer will work up to 37 hours per week, providing support services throughout the campus to maintain a safe and secure environment for the Hale School community and to support the efficient daily operations of the school.
Hale School is Perth’s oldest boys’ school located on a 48-hectare site in Wembley Downs. The school has approximately 1620 boys from Pre Primary to Year 12. There are two boarding houses accommodating around 180 boys who live on campus during term time. Thirteen families live on site to provide support for the school’s day-to-day operations.
The Campus Security Officer is responsible for diligently executing lock-up and alarm procedures each weeknight, and when necessary, promptly responding to any alarms activated during their shift. Additionally, the officer will accurately document security incidents and oversee the security schedule to ensure that the school’s security needs are consistently met.
This position is also instrumental in ensuring road safety by managing traffic flow and parking logistics before and after school, as well as during sporting events and other significant school functions.
Given the variable nature of the school calendar and the commitment to delivering exceptional security services, the role requires a degree of flexibility in the weekly work schedule to accommodate these demands.
The role is an important part of the Operations team, working closely with the Services and Maintenance teams at Hale School.

Be eligible to work in Western Australian schools. This will involve associated Police Clearances and a current Working with Children Check (WWCC).
