We at Hale value the connections made between ‘school’ and ‘community’. HaleConnect is designed to build and extend relationships between the School and the community through the collaborative creation of events and activities.

In 2016 there will be the HaleConnect STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) Challenge, led by Design and Technology Teacher Mr Simon Tilley, and a Year 8 Boarder Drama tour event in collaboration with one our connected rural communities.

A highlight of the HaleConnect calendar last year was the HaleConnect Junior School Triathlon programme. Held in November, the programme spanned five weeks across Terms 3 and 4 and culminated in a “have a go” triathlon with over 100 students from Holy Rosary Primary School, the International School of Western Australia (City Beach) and Hale Junior School. More than just about triathlon, the programme aimed to bring together students and families from a range of backgrounds in a supportive, fun and challenging environment.
