Hale School is hosting the first ever ‘Skydive for 5’, a new, unique and daring event in support of the five main charities the School supports: Nulsen Disability Services, Ronald McDonald House, Muscular Dystrophy WA, Starlight Children’s Foundation and the Salvation Army.
Four Hale staff members will tandem jump, with another two jumps up for sale via online auction. There will also be two live air stunts by professional skydivers. The staff members jumping are: Alex Cameron (Head of Junior School), Andrew Manley (Head of Middle School), Ross Barron (Head of Senior School and Boarding) and Su-Lyn Chong (Director of Teaching and Learning). Nova radio presenter Ross Wallman, an Old Haleian, will MC the event.
The auction will go live on Wednesday 18 April on eBay. The two highest bidders will have the opportunity of a lifetime to skydive onto Hale’s Craig Oval (the main oval). This is unprecedented at a school, in the metropolitan area and over controlled airspace.
Also, on the day there will be food and drinks available to purchase, thanks to the generosity of parent volunteers. All proceeds from sales and the auction will be divided between the five charities.
Please come along to support the divers and their charities.
