From the day I commenced my role as Headmaster of Hale School in January 2003, I have been impressed by the passion displayed by the boys and the staff for the School. Their enthusiasm pervades all areas of the School community and sets the tone for a lively, challenging environment.
Hale School has a tradition of being a leading school in both academic focus and sporting tradition. However, critical to the School's growth is the ongoing development of teaching and learning strategies and pastoral care initiatives. A vital part of the education provided at Hale School involves instilling in the boys personal attributes such as responsibility, independence, resilience, concern and respect for others, leadership and strong moral values.
An appreciation of the Arts is paramount in the philosophy of the School and the state-of-the-art John Inverarity Music and Drama Centre is testament to this.
