After an extensive review, 2010 will see Hale School adopt a Middle School model that is based on best practice principles in catering for the needs of young adolescents. This model focuses on the provision of effective pastoral care and an engaging academic curriculum that challenges and excites boys as they enter this crucial stage of their learning. In order to ensure that the Middle School curriculum can be best delivered, the School has developed a plan for the establishment of purpose-built Middle School facilities.
After considerable planning, a development application has been lodged with the City of Stirling to construct these facilities. The buildings have been designed by renowned WA based architects, James Christou and Partners and have been planned to be constructed on the site of existing facilities adjacent to Unwin Avenue.
