Junior School

Hale Junior School

The Junior School is a community of approximately 300 boys, their parents and over 30 staff.  Being the point of entry for many ‘Haleians’, the Junior School is an integral component of the wider School community.  For this reason, we enjoy the support, facilities and sense of pride evident across the whole School.  In addition to Hale School’s Vision and Values, Hale Junior School’s staff has developed a Vision and Values statement that is consistent with the wider school while being pertinent to the Junior School context.  Our vision is to provide;

An inspirational learning community built upon genuine relationships and the pursuit of excellence, providing meaningful and engaging learning opportunities for boys.

We believe this statement encapsulates current practice in the Junior School while directing us in our future.  The Australian educational landscape is going through unprecedented change as states and territories, systems and schools plan for the implementation of the National Curriculum.  Throughout the implementation process the following values will guide Hale Junior School;

Teaching and Learning – We encourage a lifelong passion for creativity, innovation and learning.

Integrity – We act in a manner which demonstrates respect and engenders trust.

Excellence – We strive for excellence in all that we do.

Enjoyment – Experience joy and satisfaction as part of this community.

The Junior School staff are committed to regularly reflecting upon our Vision and Values as we ensure that our unique educational setting remains our trademark as we move towards the future.

We value the opportunity to become partners in your son’s journey as they strive to prepare for a rewarding and fulfilling life that is underpinned by the School’s motto, ‘Duty’.

As partners in your son’s education we look forward to your support of Hale School’s vision and values and genuinely hope the Hale School experience meets all of your expectations.
