Family Services are generally held on the last Sunday of each month at 9.30am during term time.(check the calendar) If you do not have a Parish Church, have not been to church for some time or wish to introduce your son to Anglican worship this is a good opportunity.
Friends of Chapel is a small group of parents who meet on an informal basis to support the promotion of Chaplaincy sponsored events in the school. An example of this is the Harmony Day lunch in the Quad or the provision of flowers in the Chapel. If you would like to support them the current contact person is Mrs Sarah Ashford.
The Annual Father’s Day Breakfast is scheduled on the Monday after Father’s Day for the Junior School. It has been steadily increasing in popularity with the Hale Family. It is an event which unites and mixes students with their fathers and is followed by a Chapel Service. Information is available from the Junior School Office.
Easter Day Service is held for any member of the Hale School Community in the Chapel at 9.30am and like the Family Services during the year is followed by a morning tea.
As you would expect, the Carol Service takes place in December. The venue is St Georges Cathedral and to join with the school community and sing your favourite carols accompanied by the magnificent Hale/St Mary’s Cantata is a real treat. This year it’s December 1st at 8.00pm; enter the date in your diary now!
