Puppetry
Thursday, 4 – 5.30pm

This workshop splits between puppets for film and puppets for theatre. Become involved in the development of puppets for use in our short film project, and indeed create creatures for future production.  This is a practical workshop with the emphasis on fun.

Multimedia
Thursday, 4 – 5.30pm

Bringing together the worlds of film making, live action, puppetry and animation, this new workshop is targeting those who want to be involved in a film making opportunity. From sketches through to filming and final edit, participants will be able to follow this project throughout the year.

Theatre skills - Make up
Tuesday, 4 – 5pm

A vital skill for all performers is to be able to apply their own make-up. This workshop teaches you the fundamentals before moving on to special effects make-up, cuts and bruises. Then join us as a team member on all productions to show your skills and benefit the redfoot community.

Theatre skills - Improvisation
Thursday, 4 – 5pm

How do we create theatre from a range of different starting points? This workshop explores a wide variety of dramatic situations and develops the performer’s skills of presentation.  The work could stem from existing text or be fundamental to the development of upcoming projects - it is all valuable experience.

Theatre skills - Site Specific Drama
Wednesday, 4 – 5pm

This workshop aims to give students a wide range of performance experiences. Taking theatre into new locations and performing in previously unused spaces helps to develop creativity and imagination. This group will work towards a site specific presentation performance.

Circus Skills
Tuesday, 4 - 5pm

No matter your level of circus know-how, this workshop is for you.  Learn the basics of ball juggling, and indeed all equipment based circus skills. Make new friends and challenge yourself to improve. These skills help to develop hand to eye coordination and concentration. You’ll never look at a fruit bowl in the same way again.

Technical Theatre
Monday, 5.15 – 7.15pm, M&D Auditorium

The redfoot technicians learn all the fundamentals of stage lighting, sound design and stage management. They also serve the redfoot production community by working on all productions through the year. Rarely seen, but absolutely vital, this workshop quite literally ensures that the show does indeed go on.
