9-year-old Bruno is growing up in Berlin during World War II. But when his family moves to Auschwitz following his father’s promotion to Commandant in the Nazi regime, his life changes forever. Upon arriving at his new home, curiosity strikes Bruno and he meets young Schmuel, a Jewish boy, on the other side of a fence. As their friendship grows, Bruno soon finds that his curiosity may just get the better of him and discovers more about the boy in the striped pyjamas…

Directed by year 12 student Connor Delves, The Boy In The Striped Pyjamas is a powerful look at the nature of friendship and family set against the backdrop of World War II Germany and is sure to be a highlight of the redfoot 2013 production season.
