SUBJECT RESULTS
A source of great pride is the number of times that Hale School was placed in the ‘Top 10’ for each TEE subject, based on the percentage of students achieving a scaled score of 75% or more in that subject, and for each WSA subject, based on the percentage of students achieving A-grades in that subject. In 2008, Hale School was listed in the top 10 schools 11 times for TEE subjects, more frequently than any other boys’ school and the second most frequent listing of any school in the State. The TEE subjects were: Ancient History, Applicable Mathematics, Art, Applied Information Technology, Human Biology, Calculus, Chemistry, Engineering Studies, French, Physics, and Political & Legal Studies.
The WSA subjects in the top 10 were: Physical Education Studies and Applied Technology
57.14% of Hale School students who completed four or more TEE subjects/WACE courses achieved an average scaled mark in the top third of the State. The School is proud of the academic results achieved by Year 12 students, 2008, and is equally proud of the way in which they participated so fully in the life of the School, in sport, co-curricular activities and service to the community.
