At the Opening Assembly for 2009, the Headmaster, Mr Stuart Meade inducted fifteen Year 12 boys into their role as School Prefects. The boys selected for this honour have a diverse range of interests and strengths, articulated in their individual ‘Statement of Intent’ read in front of the student body.
Mr Meade said, “Leadership is ultimately a relationship. A relationship built on integrity and character ensures the leader will have credibility in the eyes of others. I believe these boys have displayed these traits in many areas of their school life”.
The boys selected as School Prefects have already been busy this year, attending a Leadership workshop prior to the commencement of the school year, assisting at the Year 8 Orientation Day, the Parents’ Sundowner, and in setting a positive tone around the campus.
