The presentation evening for the Curtin University Accounting Experience was held last week at Subiaco Oval. The Programme allows selected students to complete the first year university accounting unit as an extension to their school studies. Selected students are also offered the opportunity to attend the Price Waterhouse Coopers (PWC) internship and traineeship interviews. Of the six traineeships awarded by PWC in Perth this year, two were from Hale. Stuart Mack and Liam Bennett-Menezes will start working for PWC next year while studying Commerce part time in 2010.
Stephen Bignell and Lewis Wood should also be congratulated for securing interviews for a paid internship in 2010. There were eight Hale students involved in 2009. They came third in the award for the best performing school.

Liam will also be presented with a cheque for $100 as the Institute of Chartered Accountants Most Outstanding Accounting Student for receiving the highest score.
