The seven year drought has been broken at Hale with two First XI cricketers scoring 100’s this season. Sam Marsh (Year 12) scored 125 not out vs Trinity and Nathan Crosby (Year 12) scored 152 vs Scotch College.
Coach of the First XI Sean Henderson said, “Both centuries were outstanding innings. Nathan batted beautifully against Scotch, particularly as the side was 2/0 after the first over. When he was dismissed, he had scored 152 out of 216. Sam’s innings against Trinity was also brilliant. He arrived at the crease with the score at 3/114, and was unbeaten on 125 at the end. His timing of the ball was superb, and he hit five sixes and twelve fours.”
Congratulations Sam and Nathan!
